The best way to develop intuition is to feel it, rather than analyze or read about it. Let me give you an exercise: Close your eyes and ask your guides/angels/personal beings for help. Acknowledge that you might not even know if they are there (if you aren’t sure they are there). Ask them to teach you how to connect with them, which will connect you to your intuition. What keeps you from moving towards your goal?
