Judyth Sult’s March 2018 Empowerment Newsletter

Notes from J

In the Pacific Northwest the sun is finally awakening and making a more hearty attempt to shine brightly and bring a bit of warmth.

On March 20 Spring is officially here. You’ve probably noticed the buds and early spring flowers popping out of the cold ground. From ancient times Spring has represented a time of hope and renewal. The myths of life after death from many cultures predate the story Jesus. As with the Christian religion, most of these stories are reported as raising up in the Spring time.

Use the beginning of Spring to celebrate and empower yourself with all or some of the renewal rituals below. You may want to use this month to renew yourself by using one or more of my services which i’ve outlined below.

In this issue I’m starting a series about the stones of the month not only from the American Assoc. of Jewelers, but also from the lists of the ancient Ayurvedic and mystical birthstones. It’s an interesting contrast.

Please, treat yourself like royalty and get out and enjoy the sunshine when it comes, nurture yourself in all weather, and be kind to all.

I invite you to Renew Yourself by Co-creating Yourself with Me

Reiki healing
I’ve been a Reiki master for over 20 years and a Therapeutic Touch healer before that . Energy healing is a clothes-on healing that takes place privately on a massage table. Subtle energy is transfered through my hands to your body.

Reiki can be used to:

  • promote natural self-healing
  • balance the energies in the body
  • strengthen the immune system
  • treat symptoms and causes of illness
  • relieve pain
  • relax and reduce stress and grief.

Empowerment readings

Empowerment readings can help you become willing to

  • look at your life and identify the changes you want to make to yourself, for yourself.
  • release people, situations, and ideas that are not in your highest good.
  • push boundaries and explore new thoughts and actions.
  • find the courage to walk in the fog of the unknown until you have clarity.

You do not need to discover this power on your own.

This is what I provide:

  • Two 1 hour consultations per month. The consultations will be by phone or in-person and can be broken up into half hour segments if preferred. Empowerment exercises developed specifically for you to address the goals we identified in the first meeting.
  • A response within 48 hours to every Life exercise and assignment you submit.
  • Unlimited brief email and/or phone responses throughout the month as you request.

This is what you provide:

  • Keep me updated about the issues we discuss.
  • Complete your assigned exercises.
  • Keep our agreed upon appointment schedule.

*When available. The number of people I mentor at any one time is limited and I have 1 space open at this time.

Weddings and Life ceremonies
Your wedding or other life celebration is intended to recognize a milestone in your life. It may be as simple as a birthday that brings you to adulthood or elder status. It may be the welcoming of a newborn into the energy of the good of the universe. Whatever it is, we will co-create a memorable ceremony that celebrates the milestone in a way that reflects your values.

I offer classes such as “Becoming Who You Want to Be”, “Forgiving Others, Healing Yourself”, “Learn to Manifest”, “Connecting to your Guides”, “Tarot as a Tool of Empowerment”. The host takes the class for free. Contact me for more information.

Make space for renewal in your life and

in your environment

Spend a day, a week or a month to take these few steps to freshen up your life.

1. Simplify your living and work space. I used to call this an “albatross day” where I would eliminate the smelly thing hanging around that was claiming attention it didn’t deserve.

We all have paperwork, memorabilia, and stuff around that zaps our energy whenever we see it. Use a day, week, or the whole month to go through everything in your home and office and decide if each thing is bringing you joy or just taking up space.

Make a practice to do what needs to be done to complete the related task; to release the items to a new life with someone who will appreciate it (Neighborhood group, Goodwill, Value Village); or to thank it for its contribution and end its life (recycle, dump).

2. Get rid of the excess, outmoded, outlandish words and messages you carry in your mind that keeps you from becoming empowered to be who you want to be. As you release the physical memories, attachments or other representatives of obsolete thinking from your past, be sure to release those thoughts and messages related to them that keep you from growing.

3. Do something new for yourself. Join, or start a book club or something else that you enjoy doing. Maybe make time for that trip you’ve wanted to take. As the season changes so do available fresh foods. Discover new recipes that excite you. Go to a spa and have a facial or body wrap to release the old skin and allow the new to shine through.

Spring is time for renewal! Share with me how you did, or will, renew yourself.

March stones

Since 1912 the official U.S. “modern” birthstone list has been the American National Association of Jewelers, which is used by jewlers to define the month stones.

Two other lists include the mystical birthstones which are originally from Tibet and date back over a thousand years.

The Ayurvedic birthstone list is the oldest, dating from 1500 B.C. in ancient India.

March Birthstones
Modern – Aquamarine: Associated with the Throat chakra,
aquamarine helps overcome the fear of speaking. Aquamarine encourages service and healing to the world and to humanity. It’s energy is compassionate and supports taking responsibility for ones’ actions. In stressful situations that demand compromise and negotiation, it can provide strength and courage while speaking with clarity and reason. It is sometimes used to heal or soothe anxiety.

Mystical – Jade: Jade is the ultimate “Dream Stone,” said to help one understand dreams. It’s also used to access the spiritual world and is often used to better comprehend the meaning of rituals. Jade has long been used as a protective talisman and powerful healing stone. It is said to bring good luck and wisdom while releasing the negative. Jade has long been a symbol of love and virtue.

Ayurvedic – Bloodstone: In antiquity Bloodstone was called Heliotrope, the Sun Stone and said to bestow the blessing of healing. It was reputed to have a coagulant effect that could cure most wounds and was carried for protection and courage. Heliotrope was used ground or powdered, and mixed with honey to cure tumors, draw out snake venom and staunch hemorrhages.

In the Middle Ages Heliotrope became known as the “Blood Stone” was said to have been formed at the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, when the blood of his wounds fell onto the dark green earth and turned to stone. It was also believed to have magical properties with the ability to control the weather.
