Judyth Sult’s May 2018 Empowerment Newsletter

NOTES from J

Feel the expansive energy of May – the flowers are exploding with color and fragrance. The sun is staying longer in the sky and bringing warmer weather. The waterfalls, rivers and streams are flowing with abundance.

Beltane, celebrated May 1, falls between Spring and Summer and blesses fertility in all its forms.

What do you want to become fertile in your life? What does your personal and spiritual garden host? What do you want to expand and where do you need to weed?

May this month bring you joy and reward your intention,

4 Empowerment Steps to Create Possibilities

1. Set intentions – Make a list of the areas in your life that you want to create new and/or expanded possibilities. Be specific without getting bogged down. Your life is integrated between the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. When you want to spend more energy in one area, realize that you may need to shift some energy from another area.

2. Evaluate options – As you review your intentions, evaluate what you will need to accomplish each intention. Do they require an investment of time, money, commitment or space? Decide from among the various approaches that you may take to create your intention. There is almost always more than one action you can take to achieve your intention.

3. Take action – Now that you know what you want to achieve, and the best steps to take for success, really commit yourself to your goals. The purpose of setting your intention is to make your life better and this is your opportunity to claim a more expansive life. GO FOR IT!

4. Pay attention – Keep your list of intentions and actions where you see them and pay attention to how well you are completing your actions and staying with your intention. Pay attention to where you stumble and celebrate your successes.

When you feel stuck, pull a card to see what energy is in your way, and then another card to determine what energy to call upon to get past your challenge.

You can always call on me if you have a question.

May Birth Stones

Since 1912 the “modern” birthstone list has been used by jewelers to define the month stones.

The mystical birthstone list is originally from Tibet and dates back over a thousand years.

The Ayurvedic birthstone list is the oldest, dating from 1500 B.C. in ancient India.

Modern – Emerald. The Emerald is said to influence the mind by improving memory, intelligence, and enhancing the ability to see the future and help with spiritual guidance. It is also calming and rumored to be good for people who suffer from anxiety or insecurity. Folklore suggests that Emeralds are also worn to enhance love and contentment. Cleopatra prized emeralds above all other gems.

Mystical – Blue Sapphire. Blue Sapphire is said to promote dreaming, astral travel and the ability to bring information into consciousness. This stone is used for healing and spiritual growth. Healers sometimes use Blue Sapphire with the throat chakra to promote communication, and self expression.  Blue Sapphire fosters loyalty, commitment, and fidelity. According the Bible, Blue Sapphire was one of the original stones in the breast plate of the High Priests.

Ayurvedic Agate, which can come in many different colors.
Agate has been found with the remains of humans from as early as 20,000-16,000 B.C. The Egyptians used agates prior to 3000 B.C. for talismans, jewelry and house decorations. Ancient civilizations believed that wearing agate would make them invisible. Farmers, soldiers and even magicians used agates for good luck and to please gods. Agates have been used to see the future, for health and to enhance creativity.
