New Year Resolutions

It’s often tempting to make promises to yourself (or you family and friends) at the beginning of a new cycle. Perhaps this year you can try a different approach by using the energy of your personal year to set your intentions about what you want to do in the new year.

Add your birth day and month (not your birth year) to 2020. My birth day is 21 and the month is April so it’s a 4. So I add 21+4+2020=2045, and reduce the number to a single digit, which is 11=2. So my personal year is a 2, which is about balance, partnership and cooperation. My resolution might be to focus on bringing more balance to my relationships with my spouse, family and friends. Next, I will write down particular areas where I can enhance my relationships and then plan events throughout the year to focus on one-on-one time with people dear to me.

Figure out your personal year and the energy that the personal year brings to you.
