December 2018

Rev. Judyth Sult’s December 2018

Empowerment Newsletter

NOTES from J

Thank you all for your kind thoughts as I am recovering from pneumonia. I am well on the road to recovery as a result of your kind healing wishes.

I’m excited to announce I’ll be offering the Numerology for Empowerment Workshop on January 5. What makes it empowering you ask? Well, you will learn what your true life path  and your soul desire numbers are for joy and happiness. You will learn how each year the energy will have a theme and the way you approach that theme will change on your birthday. With this information you will be in an empowered place to makemore informed choices about the direction of your life. And you will receive a workbook so you can do numerology for friends and family. Click here for details.

December is always so busy and often very tense. How to deal with the pressures of pleasing, buying, feeding, partying and eating? In addition, in the Pacific Northwest the rainy weather, dark clouds and infrequent sunny days makes it appear that the sun is gone until about March 1. If it feels too dark you might want to look up the times of the sunrise and sunset so your rational mind can believe days are longer in spite of evidence of the light. For example, according to the calendar linked here, from January 1 to January 31 we gain an addition of 1 hour and 3 minutes of light! You can actually make a sunrise, sunset calendar here for where you live.

Every sign this month suggests that this is the time to set your intention for what you want to bring into your life in 2019. The stones are about protection (for your dreams), passion (for your path) and healing (to move forward in the future). The Moon cycles are about making your dreams come true and nurturing yourself. The card of the month, New Perspectives, is about getting a new approach so you make fresh, better choices. What is your personal card?

Prepare to leave 2018 behind. Hold onto sweet memories and lessons learned. Release the stress and tension by doing self care. Forgive the hurtful. Create a new dream and a new reality for the future as you get ready to launch into 2019.

Blessing and peace,
J

What’s your Life Path, Soul Purpose, Hidden Passion?

Discover your secret self in 2019

Sometimes we need a catalyst to help us move more confidently towards our goals. Numerology can provide some of the secret keys to unlock new paths.

Numerology can provide clues to why you are here, what will bring you joy and how to pursue your dreams. Below I’ve provided the calculations to find the energy you are bringing to yourself in 2019 (Yikes! Is that year possible?). This is very basic, simple way to help set your goals and understand what you are bringing into your life in the coming year.

Numerology is a rich and complex practice that has much more to offer in the way of understanding who you are and what will bring you happiness. While the personal year energy is based on combining your birthday and month with the current year, your Life Path, Soul Purpose and Hidden Passions are based on the letters in your full birth name.

It’s always interesting for me when I compare the name numerology of someone’s birth name and compare it to a name change after marriage or some other event. The client often tells me she wondered why she had certain characteristics before and after the name change, and numerology clarified the impact of those changes.

I’ll be hosting a full day workshop, Numerology for Empowermet, on January 5 in time to set your intentions for the 2019. In fact, this date is under the influence of the first new moon of the year and is perfect for releasing old beliefs and setting fresh goals. You will learn the numerological energy of your name for your Life Path, Soul Purpose and Hidden Passions as well as your personal energy for 2019 – and the best way to apply that energy.

Each person in the workshop will receive a workbook so that you can calculate the numerology for family and friends.

The workshop will be held at a beautiful office, retreat just outside of La Connor, WA. Space is limited so please click here for full details. (View from the Rev. Elke’s office sanctuary outside of La Connor on loan for the day.)

Start 2019 with passion, intention and confidence!

What Does 2019 Hold for You?

Calculate Your Personal Year for 2019

It’s that time of year to prepare for how the energy in 2019 is likely to affect you. Every January the theme of your energy changes according to the vibration of the numbers for that year. The number of the universal year (our calendar year, such as 2019) is determined by adding all of the digits in the year: 2+0+1+9=12=3.

The energy for an 3 year is about issues of expansiveness, adventure, new opportunities. The universal year is the broadest numerological theme in the year that applies to everyone. Use the calculations below to find your personal energy in an 3 personal year. Your individual Personal year is calculated by adding your birth day and month to the universal year. The numbers are reduced to a single digit and added up. For example, a September 23 birthday would look like this:
9+23+2019= birth month+birth day+current year
9+5+3=8. Thus, 8 is the personal year for this birthday.

The numerology explanations below are followed by the Tarot cards that resonate with each energy.
1 – People in a 1 personal year are planting the seeds for the next 9 year cycle. This is a year with many new opportunities and activities. The 1 energy is likely to be a year of leadership and initiative. Sun (19), Wheel of Fortune (10), Magician (1)

2 – People in a 2 personal year are open to new relationships and opportunities that embrace harmony, balance and cooperation. During a 2 year, when a person is out of balance or in a disagreeable relationship, the person may become depressed because they are not able to act on the 2 energy. The 2 year is an excellent year to build on the new beginnings from the 1 year.
Awakening (Judgment) (20), Justice or Strength (11), High Priestess (2).

3 – People in a 3 personal year feel expansive and open to new adventures. This is very much “play time” as people in the 3 energy explore the meaning of joy in their lives. Three energy is very creative, especially in art and writing. It’s important to distinguish between creativity and frivolousness. World (21), New Perspectives (Hanged One) (12), Sustenance (Empress) (3)

4 – A 4 personal year is time to focus after the playfulness of the 3 year. It is a year of focus and creating a foundation for the future. It can be considered a “maze” year as the people in this year seem to have more obstacles than usual. As they come to a block, they must learn to change directions to find a new route rather than run into a brick wall. Life Cycles (Death) (13), Authority (Emperor) (4)

5 – People in a 5 personal year often feel great relief after the constrictions of the 4 year. The 5 personal year is full of exploration and working beyond the constraints of the 4 year. Many new opportunities present themselves, and it’s important to be able to finish some of the many projects that will be tempted to begin.
Temperance (14), Advisor (Hierophant) (5)

6 – The 6 personal year is usually pretty smooth, even as the person is likely to be focused on responsibility and service, especially to family. People in this year are focused on home and what home means: who they want in the home, where home is, what home means. People must beware of taking on so much responsibility so that the sense of individuality is lost. Entrapment (Devil) (15), Choice (Lovers) (6)

7 – People in a 7 personal year spend their time analyzing and trying to understand what their life is about. The seven year is about choices, often unexpected ones. It is a time to pause, consider, reflect, evaluate and decide. Intuition is important in the 7 year. Chaos (Tower) (16), Determination (Chariot) (7)

8 – The 8 personal year is about status and money. It’s often the perfect time for people to explore new employment opportunities, apply for promotions and evaluate their general financial situation. Many people start a new business in an 8 year after the 7 year of analyzing and evaluating the wisdom of such a move. Star (17), Justice or Strength (8)

9 – The 9 year is the end of the cycle that started in the 1 year. People may find they are cleaning out closets, relationships, and anything else that no long serve them. As a part of the completion cycle they may find that giving to others, financially or emotionally, becomes important to them. Sun (18), Introspection (Hermit) (9)

11 – The 11 is a master number and indicates a year with the potential to open the person to a high vibration that allows greater intuitive ability. The 11 energy is difficult to sustain and it reduces to a 2 energy and that vibration is generally more comfortable for most people.

Moon Phases and Rituals

*Suggestion – Put these dates as a reminder on your calendar!

December 6 – New Moon – This Sagittarius new moon is the time to set long term goals to define or grow your life’s meaning. It is a time of optimism and an invitation to dream a new reality. During this new moon phase use the energy to dissolve that which has been keeping you from believing you are empowered to achieve your dreams. Imagine having those obstacles put into a vat that dissolves negative energy and leaves a residue of belief in the magic.

December 21 – Winter Solstice – Winter Solstice is the shortest day of the year. For many people it seems that we are just entering the darkest time of the year, but the reality is, the Winter Solstice is the return to the light. Each day after the Solstice the sun is up a few minutes longer. According to the calendar on www.sunrisesunset.com  on January 1 the length of day is 8 hours, 20 minutes, by January 31 the length of day is 9 hours and 23 minutes! Do something to call in the light with a candle, a bonfire, a ritual with friends.

December 22 – Full Moon – The Moon is in her home in Cancer where she feels her nurturing power for herself and others. The Moon is about emotions and this is the time to take care of your emotions and to be mindful of what others are feeling and experiencing. This time of the year people can be very fragile and it’s a good time to feed the body and soul with yummy and healthy food and ideas (yummy and healthy are not mutually exclusive). Give yourself the gift of a healing or something that feeds your spirit. Pass that healing love to others.
